To me, certain character limits tend to be problematic not because of the length of actual content, but because of formatting tags and embedding taking up a lot of characters. This is something I experience on most of websites, not just this one, but the most aggravating issue over here is linking to user profiiles and other sources of strategies, which could be alleviated with internalisation of link paths and @mentions.
Forlorn Fate - Ulmath's minions share health with their master. Endless Doom - Incites a chain reaction of void energy at targeted locations. Upon impact these locations inflict 26,261 Shadow damage within 5 yards and additionally trigger Endless Destruction. Endless Destruction - Void energy erupts, inflicting 52,523 Shadow damage and knocking back enemies within 10 yards. Mental Collapse (Deadly) - Commands Moon Priestess Liara to inflict 175,076 Shadow damage to targets within 30 yards. While casting, all players are drawn towards Moon Priestess Liara. Void Dance - Commands Guardian Tannin to enter a Void Dance, inflicting 26,261 Shadow damage to targets within 8 yards for 9 sec. This effect also creates 6 additional Void Dance areas nearby for 18 sec. Soul Tether - When Moon Priestess Liara or Guardian Tannin move more than 75 yards from Ulmath, Ulmath tethers them to him, inflicting 17,507 Shadow damage to all targets within 100 yards of the tethered target while the tether remains. Most people who have spent years playing massively multiplayer online games will tell you that there's something special about the first one you played, too—and WoW was the first for many people. You can become so swept up in the uniqueness of your first experience that you overlook many flaws. It's likely many look at WoW Classic with rose-colored glasses, just as many simply forgot which features were added when. And some of today's WoW players may be too young to have even played vanilla WoW as it once was.
Bonz, Sid, and Zygor are then seen right before the Battle City finals. The three reside in a nearby cemetery and trick people into giving up their Locator Cards. However, Yami Bakura is not intimidated by their act and challenges them to a Duel in which the winner gets all the Locator Cards, and thus goes directly to the Battle City Finals. Bakura wins in just a few moves, and then banishes them to Hell (the Shadow Realm in the dub).

All of this is keeping with the spirit of vanilla, which I think is more important than that a specific number be 11 instead of 12. And it would help to "resize the swing" by making the game harder to the more experienced community, and forcing people to re-discover the game rather than simply looking up whatever they want to know on a spreadsheet somewhere.
Other methods have been discussed. For example, mods could be crippled. DBM didn't exist back then, and the other boss that did that I don't remember the name of, didn't do as much back then as DBM does now. If our goal is to recreate the experience as it was, then obviously not having DBM would be a reasonable way to accomplish that. DBM simply existing, makes the game today easier than it was. So disallow it. Again, this is completely consistent with the spirit of vanilla. Remember one-button-decursing? That was nerfed. They crippled the capabilities of the modding API to disallow that because it made the game too easy. So what if they cripple it a little bit more to once again make the game less easy?

The quality of captured wild pets is random. As of patch 5.1, upon entering a battle the Pet Battle UI shows the quality of a wild pet (idicated by a color-coded border around its icon). If you're farming a specific quality, if you forfeit the match your team will incur a small damage penalty (roughly 10%). There is no accurate way to determine a pet's quality prior to the start of a battle.

All the current WoW Classic classes and races will be available for selection, but level is capped at 5. Remember, it’s more important for this round of testing to see how these starting zones hold up to the crush of bodies — can the servers survive this many people playing on them? So while you won’t really get to feel the full scope of the game, you will get to see how it’s shaping up and how it’ll feel when hordes (or alliances, I suppose) of folks descend on the servers the day the game goes live.
There are two parts of the quest chain for each continent. The first part involves defeating numerous Master Pet Tamers, and the second requires you to triumph over the Grand Master Tamer. After you've bested the Grand Master Tamer, dailies from each Tamer will unlock for that continent. All the dailies continue to reward experience for your companions, however only the Grand Master daily quest will reward the Sack of Pet Supplies.
That's not to say that everyone has an unrealistic vision of what vanilla WoW was like. There were already plenty of people on the WoW Classic forums pointing out that perceived bugs are just recreations of the original game. And as noted before, a flaw to one player is a key component of the original positive experience to another. WoW Classic will surely please plenty of purists in spades. But this goes to show that it won't be for everyone who has fond memories of the game circa 2006.
